Please keep in mind that to preserve Bath's cultural heritage, it is protected by UNESCO.This means that all these 300-year-old buildings are not to be drilled, destroyed, or altered in any way as per UK laws and regulations.Thus, in that building the water is instantly being heated by heaters in each shower and not by a central system. Should the pressure be higher, and the water flows faster, the heaters would not have the time to make the water hot. Our allowed options were low pressure or no hot water at all, as we could not create a boiler room since it was not already there... We understand that this might seem irregular.However having lost 1300 only in July from people who stayed with us and then claimed chargebacks, only makes the rules stricter for all parties involved. Please note that at no point was your reservation cancelled.However, we remained open until 18:18 in case you would arrive. As this was not the case we called you unsuccessfully. At that time we sent via Expedia the late check-in details as we do with all our late arrivals every day.Despite that, you did call us at 18:42 as it seems that you could not see the ENTER button, even though it is there.We still assisted you even after the end of our shift.Please be kindly informed that since you did not book directly, it is the online travel agent's responsibility to provide you with a confirmation letter and number.We are sorry that despite the fact that we went above and beyond to assist you, nothing was appreciated.Wishing you safe travels.

On the 6th of May 2023, you were notified that your card did not pass our security checks and that we would request the payment by cash. Please be kindly informed that as per our T&C, the card details must pass our security checks. After the 6th of May, we did not receive any correspondence from you until the 28th of May (one day before your arrival). On that date, you acknowledged receipt of our message and confirmed that you would come to our office to settle the payment before closing time. My colleague thanked you and reminded you of the opening hours. On the day of your arrival and while our office was already closed, you hadn't arrived as per your message. We called you to confirm your estimated time of arrival at our office. To our surprise, you mentioned that you were on the train and that you would not come until 7 pm. Unfortunately, nothing was communicated regarding your delay until the moment we called you. Instead of cancelling your booking and while we had not received a secure payment, we did everything possible to assist you. We are sorry to hear that this was not appreciated at all.
