The photos of the inside of the property are definitely accurate, and the remodel of the home is nice. The area surrounding the rental is not great, but overall we ventured out a lot and so it was fine. The issues that we experienced are listed below.
-Daily trains as the rental is in close proximity to train tracks. 5am-6am trains with loud horns as they pass through the town.
-The mattresses were very hard, and the frame itself was very unstable and poor quality as it shifted often.
-Bed Linens were cheap, very thin, and the bath towels were few and discolored. Definitely need to be replaced.
-Smell of sewage or similar coming from the bathroom. Hard to tell if the odor is coming from the water or the bathroom itself. The bathroom was clean.
-Non-functioning TV’s with the exception of the living room tv. We tried everything to connect it with no success.
-The picture of the backyard cabana was obviously filtered. The canopy is faded, lopsided and sitting atop a panel section of the backyard fence.
$600 for a two night stay we would’ve been better off staying an hour away in New Orleans as we did on our first night in Louisiana. This was not a comfortable stay, is greatly overpriced, and frankly this was an utter disappointment.
Please accurately represent your property for future renters so that people that aren't familiar with this area know exactly what they are getting. If you don't care about comfort, then this is definitely the place for you.
