“Stayed at this beautiful cabin with a group of friends from all over the state. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. The cable is more beautiful than we imagined. It is right on the lake, although with the weather we were only able to enjoy the view. The sauna was an added bonus.”

“Nice cabin with a beautiful view from the large deck. Accommodations were more than adequate for the two of us and could easily manage 4-6. Also very thoughtful with extras like coffee and spices. Host was very accommodating when we asked to move our reservation out a day. Good location between other lakes and lake towns. We would go back again.”

“This home was a perfectly in-between location for our group to go biking up to Glendalough State Park, and then using the trail into the town of Battle Lake to enjoy the shopping, restaurant and brewery. The trail was directly behind the house, perfect access to hop on! The home was furnished very nice and suited our group of 6 wonderfully with 3 nice size bedrooms. We didn't cook much there but it looked like there was adequate dishes and things to cook with. We didn't have the best weather……

“Close to everything. The house was very cozy and clean. Big windows looking out to the large deck and lake. The kitchen had everything, but the ice maker did not work so you might want to get some ice before you arrive. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay. Thank you so much”

“We had such a relaxing stay at the Battle Lake home. John was so inviting and helpful during check-in and over the Memorial Day weekend- so much as to help get us an extra baby monitor because ours stopped working! Our small family stayed for the extended weekend - it was perfect and spacious for just us, and a couple game nights on the patio with other visiting family. Nestled on a quiet street overlooking the lake, we were just a few steps away from downtown Battle Lake and even enjoyed a……

“Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay……

“Spent weekend there with my best friend and his two seven year old daughters. We were even able to bring our dogs along. Property was well stocked with all the things we needed (not food, obviously). We had a great time just hanging out and fishing off the dock. Only drawback was water was too mucky to swim on that side of the lake the weekend we went.”
