The property was in a good area. The room was clean. The staff was not up to date on my reservation. We were booked in the wrong room, and I was not upgraded. Even after a room change, we still did not have the correct room. We settle for three people in one king bed... not really a good option. We did not receive a free breakfast as described.

I've always wanted to stay at the Stamford Plaza since I started working around the area in the early 2000s. It did not disappoint.
A little old style Melbourne. It reminded me of hotels we've stayed at in New York and San Francisco. The king suite was well appointed and room service was pretty good.
