"Place is as in pics. Our unit was close to road Loud & dusty. Beach was a bust. Did not want to sit on a dock!. Had the reviews mentioned the road work & the silt & that the water was not that great we would have not booked. The reef is not that close. When we got a car we spent or time elsewhere.No fault of Sundancer but reviews should have mentioned the amount of road work! "This was a primo spot for us but might not be for everyone. To me, the only reason to go to Roatan is if you are a hard core diver or snorkeler. We loved this location because we could swim 250yards out to the reef every day and it was awesome. Crossing an active boat channel means being heads up, not for novices."

"Overall a good stay. Ideal location right on the main beach. Some of the rooms are stuck way out back and quite a climb, the rest are ok. Most of the staff are pleasant, one wasn't. They are very flexible on check in time and will let you in the room if there is one available, no matter how early you show up, which is appreciated. Rooms are large and well appointed. Nice ahava brand toilettries."
