"Excellent location close to town. Also very roomy, Property could use a coat of paint and more serious cleaning. Dust was all over the headboard, spider webs were behind the headboard. TV was tedious to obtain and nothing to watch unless you had your own accounts that you could access. The remote for the window blinds were so small, they were almost unreadable and difficult to adjust. There were no remotes or controls for the "adjustable" bed, that we could find. "Great small space located downtown, easy to check in and shower was easy to figure out how to work compared to what other reviews said: press red power button, light and fan button, then turn the dial to the left and the second dial to your desired temperature, it was even possible to play radio in the shower. The downfall for us was that although beds and linens were very clean, the floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed and found hairs and other flecks of things around, along with mirrors/glass doors having finger prints/smudges. The couch had crumbs on it and the dining table was not wiped. Walls were a bit beat/chipped and could use some paint work. Walls between units are not soundproof to keep in mind if sensitive to noise, you can hear neighbours cooking/slamming drawers and walking. Otherwise the stay was good apart from that"

"The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, and the rooms are modern, clean, and well maintained. The location is excellent and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront. However, my overall experience was mixed. The staff were polite but not particularly proactive. Important information was not provided unless I specifically asked for it, which made the stay less convenient than expected. The room itself had a few design issues. Surprisingly, there were no towel hooks or bars in the bathroom, making it inconvenient to hang towels. The air conditioning was also very noisy, which affected the quality of sleep. Parking was another disappointment. At over CAD $50 per night, it is already quite expensive, and guests with electric vehicles must pay an additional fee to charge them. I also paid extra for a city-view room with a balcony. Unfortunately, the balcony overlooked the hotel's pool and gym rather than offering the city view I had expected, which was disappointing considering the additional cost. Overall, the hotel has a great location and attractive, updated facilities, but there are several areas where the guest experience could be improved. With more attentive service, better room functionality, and clearer room descriptions, it would offer much better value."
