「Charming stay in a beautiful, classical manse in Bayeaux in the Normandy region. Though not in Bayeux town, the location is convenient for a full-day D-Day experience (my reason for visiting). The owner recommended a great place for dinner and provided home-made apricot and red currant confitures, both lovely with croissants and breads.」

「A lovely old house in a secluded village in Normandy, with a few spacious rooms that have been tastefully refurbished. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is good, although I would have preferred it to be served a little earlier.
The one area that could be improved is the amenities, which are almost non-existent. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little else provided in the room.
Nevertheless, the overall experience was very positive and pleasant. The location...
