Wonderful B&B. Valérie, the host, is warm and welcoming. The French breakfast she provides is very nice. We look forward to returning to Bayeaux, and will definitely stay here again.

Definitely look no further than here for your lodging! Valarie goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and happy! She makes her own pastries and jams which are a delicious part of breakfast. Her home is in the perfect location for anything you want to see. It was the best stay on our 2 1/2 week vacation around France. Thank you so much Valarie!

Our stay at Logis de Saint Jean was wonderful. Valérie was very welcoming and her home is beautiful. Each morning she prepared a delicious breakfast (we’re big fans of her Tarte Normande). Bayeux and the surrounding areas were absolutely gorgeous and my husband and I are already planning planning to return to Normandy in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect—a great spot to see the D-Day beaches and take trips to Mount Saint Michel, Saint-Malo, and Falaise. Our room was lovely, breakfast was excellent, and we felt welcome and very comfortable. It was a very charming place, exactly what we needed. Wewould very much recommend it.

Great location! Valerie was very helpful and very knowledgeable of the area! I stayed here in October 2023 during my visit to the Normandy beaches - very convenient. Also, a perfect spot within the beautiful city of Bayeux!

Valerie joined us with her coffee at breakfast, chatted and recommended restaurants and sites. The location was perfect; a short walk to everything in town, and in better weather the courtyard would have been lovely.

We loved staying here. The historic building is charming and comfortable. Valérie had a lovely French breakfast for us each day. She gave us several excellent suggestions during our 4 night stay. It was an easy walk from the train station. We would stay here again.

Excellent!

Loved our stay. Our host was very kind and gracious, greeting us at check-in and showing us to our room. The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Restaurants and attractions are a short walking distance away. We hope to return to Bayeux someday, and we'll definitely stay at Louis de Saint-Jean again.

Lovely room in Bayeux that was walking distance from the train station. Proprietor was lovely and she provided early continental breakfast if needed. I encourage solo travellers to come here. Very nice small place with a courtyard. Make sure you know address when first arriving only a small plaque and red door to identify. Bayeux is a charming and beautiful Norman town. One flight of concrete steps to room.

Great location near old Bayeux, with lots of restaurants and cafes and shops just outside. Rooms around a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was great! One morning crepes, one morning homemade cake. The homemade yogurt was wonderful. Great way to start your stay in Bayeux.

We had a comfortable stay at this convenient location close to everything including the meeting point for guided excursions. Our host Valerie was the best: she is friendly, helpful, responsive, and a great chef/cook. Her breakfasts were just the thing to start the day in Bayeux. Terrific B&B in the heart of Bayeux

This is a charming bed and breakfast located in the heart of Bayeux. The host Valerie is a lovely woman who takes great care of her guests and makes terrific fresh breakfasts. It is very quiet which makes for great sleeping. All the sites in town are within walking distance and there are plenty of great places to eat. This is a good location if you plan to visit D-Day sites or to just enjoy the countryside. I highly recommend staying here!

This place is right on the main street in Bayeux. You can walk to the museums and the tapestry easily. Parking is free on side streets, just a bit tight, particularly now in this busy tourist season.

Lovely place to stay in Bayeux

We loved our stay at this lovely b&b in Bayeux. The hostess/owner Valerie is very friendly and welcoming. The location is superb. It is right on one of the main streets in the historic area yet the rooms are very quiet and serene looking onto the inner courtyard. We enjoyed the breakfasts and liked being able to easily walk to the sights. There are several free parking lots a few blocks away. Highly recommend this wonderful lodging for your stay in Bayeux.
