「Wonderful, secluded lakeside cabin. 」

「My husband, myself and our chihuahua (Maggie) spent 6 glorious nights at the cabin. We were fortunate enough to extend our stay when our other plans fell through. Shannon was so peaceful and gracious to make our stay so fabulous.If we come back to the area we will definitely be looking into this home away from home.」

「The deck outside was really nice and our favorite place to relax! Access to the lake was good but very steep. It was awesome to hang out there and cool off in the water. The stairs going to second are two feet wide. Very narrow. Couldn’t use the grill because of fire restrictions in the area. Owner communicated very well with us. Beds were comfortable and couch was large and comfy too :). 」

「Great location - beautiful view of the lake. Decorated beautifully - very nautical and cozy. Needs some love and care. Great to have grill but only 2 burners on it worked - which was okay. Couldn’t open a couple of windows due to screen torn and no screen on others but it was cool enough. Entry gate to the house needs fixing - wood rot but easily fixable - but made entry and departure a tad challenging. Would definitely rent again! 」

「We had an excellent stay at Whispering Pines. The host greated us for the walk through and was very accessable for small questions and/or directions throughout the stay. The house was beautiful and fully supplied with quality items in the kitchen, linens, towels, beds etc. All great! The air matresses we all not usable, so that created issues, but we made due with couch/floor sleepers...The attention to detail in the house is great and very inviting. Just a fun space!Wild deer every morning...

「The location was easy to find using google maps. It was very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much. It's a short distance to downtown Durango. It had everything we needed. Friendly owner and easy process. Beautiful view. Will definitely be coming back. 」

「There is road construction through town but it did not take away from the charm or beautiful surroundings. It made walking easier too because the traffic is slow and alllows for crossing the roads. The side walks are still accessible too.」

「Stayed five nights with wife, two daughters, and five grandchildren. Plenty of room for everyone. House was very clean and well equipped. Beautiful Mountain View with large table on deck for outdoor meals, relaxing, bird and wildlife watching (big buck deer ran right by deck). Had a wonderful and relaxing time with family. 」

「The place was convenient to everything in Pagosa Springs. Everything worked well, and the place was furnished well enough to cook anything we wanted. Comfortable bed and laundry in unit made the stay great! Would come back to this one in a second. 」
