Friends getaway

The house was perfect and had everything we needed. The A/C was very much appreciated during the hot days!! The lake was nice and close and it wasn't a far drive to Silverwood and shopping. Very much enjoyed our stay!!

Summer Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Mel's Place! We spent the first few days at Silverwood theme and water park and the last few days just hung out. We very much enjoyed Bayview Daze, the parade and kids games at the community center and the awesome fireworks display we watched from the deck at Mel's Place. A five star vacation!

Beautiful home!

This house was amazing, my family and I were in town for my cousin's wedding. The venue was just about 10 minutes from Mel's house. The views were breathtaking. Growing up in Northern ID it was a pleasure to visit my old stomping grounds of neighboring Spirit lake. We took advantage of being so close to Silverwood we just had to take my nephews to a place I've watched grow over so many years. I remember when it was just the corkscrew and my favorite, the antique cars. Lets just say my nephews were impressed with the costers. After a long day we were able to come back to Mels and have a nice easy dinner as long as you dont mind washing your own dishes. We couldn't find a hairdryer for my mom but managed. Overall Mel's meet mine and my family's needs. Thanks Sheri for being a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at Mel's Place. The layout was perfect for our extended family group of 4 adults and 4 kids. The dinning room and living areas were comfortable and large enough for a big group. We enjoyed using the BBQ and beautiful gas stove. The house was adequately stocked, the AC was good and the views are amazing. The house is as advertised and pictures don't do it justice!

Great property!

Just before arriving we were told the A/C had just broken. The host provided fans and mobile A/C units that took care of our needs. Host was very responsive when one unit caused a section of downstairs to loose power. Appreciated the ability to text the host with questions and needs. Thanks!
