"Convenient to the lake"

"It is a really nice property. Kind of a cabin feel. Somewhat barebones but beautiful surroundings and lots of windows. We visited all the beaches and did several walks. We used the restaurant for dinner and it was good. Nice ice cream shop also. The ferry was 41 round trip. We did miss in the listing that there were no bed linens or towels of any kind. That was surprising. So we had to stop and buy 5 sets at Walmart. Also paper towels and TP. There was 6 of us. The bedrooms all had window AC and running those all day kept it nice in the evening for sleeping. Watch your head in the upstairs bathroom. There is a low beam. All in all we had a great time. I would stay here again."

"To begin the host was on top of our stay and responded quickly. The house has everything one needs. It is a very comfortable house with an amazing view. I wanted a “unique Maine experience” for a long weekend and this did not disappoint. "

"I gave a couple threes because I had been in touch with the owner on the VRBO app and never got a reply so I was confused about how to get in. Fortunately, I was able to easily, but I was stressing over it on the way. Otherwise it was a beautiful place and the only other issue was that my dog was able to escape once but I got him back. I’m sure the issue at the gate will be fixed. He was able to sneak under it to chase a deer"

"Overall ok house. Linens and towels huge disappointment All need to be replaced! Glad I brought my own pillows and duvet. House was fine could use a little TLC. Very tired. Host responsive views beautiful. Fireplace did not work which was disappointment. Dock is great but a very steep stairway to get there. Hard for my husband. Kayak was not worthwhile. Rent your own. "

"This property hosted our three generations beautifully! Everything was clean and ready for us. Cabinets were fully stocked with everything we could need. The sunrise views were amazing each morning and evenings out on the dock stargazing was a treat. Couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate an anniversary!"
