「Love the location and people!」

「Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!」

「If you want to stay in a hotel with atmosphere and attractive old style ambience than this is your place. I especially liked the kitchen where you could fix your continental breakfast and eat at a round oak table and talk to the other guests. It is in the middle of everything so you can park your car and walk everywhere in Ouray. Fun stay even though the wildfires spread smoke in Ouray the air was breathable outside the hotel and inside. Don’t let a little smoke keep you away.」

「It is situated in an adorable little town. The room was nice and the bathroom awesome. There was no tv in the room, which was a little different. We could not figure out how to work the thermostat. Two "issues" that we had: 1. The second night the bar was very loud and we were the first room from the bar. There were also doors slamming everywhere. 2. It was advertised as getting a bottle of wine for each night stayed there. This we had to ask for and then they needed to verify.」
