The attention to detail in this home is truly impressive. From the beautiful garden and forest views to the well-appointed bedrooms and living spaces, every aspect of the property exudes comfort and quality.

What I liked: This property was spacious, well-lit, comfortable, with well-stocked kitchen cupboards, and plenty of seating in the living and dining rooms. The main areas of the home were clean and tabletops dusted. There were many interesting pieces of decor. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding and there seemed to be enough towels. Very homey. What I didn’t like: the property was advertised as having 4 bathrooms, two with showers, but actually there were two full baths and a half bath, garbage left outside the front door, soiled carpets, some cobwebs, lamps, window shades, and decorative items were very dusty. The windows needed washing. We didn’t see information about running the fireplace or furnace.That being said, we still had a fun time and felt comfortable in the house.

Hideaway without amenities

We stayed in this property over the summer. At first, we were very pleased. It's a lovely location that's hidden away in a wooded area. There was plenty of space for our family and the grounds are beautiful. However, several lights did not work, so the home was very dark at night. Our biggest complaint is that the washer/dryer that was promised in the listing did not work. We specifically booked this property with the thought that we would have a W/D available. When we contacted the property manager to report the outage, they said they would send people out for a repair. They never did. We were also told we would receive a credit to our account for our trouble. Several calls to the management company went unanswered. We do not want to complain -- we love the area and had a wonderful week with family -- but future renters should know what to expect when they walk in.
