“The problem was that this isn't a hotel, it is a bed and breakfast with a couple of bedrooms. When I arrived just after 3pm there was nobody there. The owner (who was a pleasant man) normally did not accept arrivals until 4pm. Also, it is located on the oldest street in town, a very, very steep heavily cobbled street only accessible on foot. It us very pretty but difficult to access with luggage. Having said that it is very pretty and my room was quaint but good.”

“Kind hosts and charming family château. Very quiet. Lovely bedroom with very comfortable bed and excellent pillows :). Ample lovely breakfast. Would like to have stayed longer and will do so in future.”

“Clean room...beds layout for 4 great....one queen and a mezzanine with two twins bed...The AC was great also. We recommend to message the hotel prior to arriving in order to be oriented about the virtual ck in located at the entrance to obtain the code..we did it and get the reservation number to register and obtain the entry number. Very satisfied!”

“ We had a lovely breakfast with home made apple juice and jams and lovely crêpes. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and it is an easy 5 minute walk to the town centre and shops. We did have to ask how to access the internet and the mobile phone signal was poor.”

“This was a wonderful stay in a beautiful building and grounds. We stayed in ‘The Princess’s Room’ which is glorious. Full length embroidered silk curtains and lovely feature detailing. It is not the room to choose if you want a ‘normal’ easy access shower; it’s original 1920’s fittings are a very large enamel bath (good for two) and a hand held only shower head. The room has been beautifully restored and its 1920’s mosaic decoration is fabulous. (The other rooms have modern bathroom fittings……
