"Beautiful property on a crystal clear lake. Despite being dog-friendly, there were no signs or smells of dogs haven been there. Place was very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well-stocked. Couches were comfy. Nice outdoor seating areas. Close to Ellsworth restaurants, fairly close to Bar Harbor. Went in latter half of October, happy to still see the beautiful colors of fall. Only one small recommendation, update listing to include when dock is removed for the season. Really enjoyed the comfort and peace of this stay. Highly recommend!"

"This is one of the most stocked kitchens of a rental I've ever experienced. My husband and I enjoy cooking when away and were very pleased to have access to all the kitchen tools. The knives were actually sharp which has never been the case. We bought fresh lobsters in town and did our own lobster rolls which was possible due to the stocked kitchen. Coffee filters and grounds were available as well as some local craft beers in the fridge, which my husband enjoyed. The views in the morning are tough to beat and the nightly fires in the fire pit were truly memorable. We came during fall break for the colors and hikes in Acadia and could not have timed it better. The changing leaves were absolutely stunning. The drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia was slightly longer than I anticipated but definitely worth it to stay away from town on the lake. Our last trip to Maine we stayed minutes away from Acadia which was nice for short rides into the park but it didn't compare to being secluded with water views. I would recommend this property to anyone! The beds were comfortable, the environment was cozy and welcoming, the views obviously stunning, and the host was great. "

"Beautiful views of the lake, clean, well appointed, was well stocked w everything you needed. LOVED having a wood stove to make cold or rainy days cozy! They had plenty of firewood available to use. The views from all the windows awesome. Beautiful porch w gas grill available. NICE hammock! Wonderful canoes and kayaks available to take out on the lake which i loved. Enjoyed the wildlife: loons, mallards, otters. The cottage was comfortable. Books to read, games to play, kitchen well stocked w anything you possibly needed. The host always available to answer questions and responded quickly. Thank you sooo much for an awesome week at your lovely lake house! LOVED my whole experience there!"

"Check-in was a breeze, and we arrived to find the home spotless and welcoming. The outdoor amenities were a highlight of our stay—our kids were out on the pond by 8 a.m. each day and back out again after our adventures until the sun set. We loved gathering around the fire pit in the evenings to make s’mores and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The house was comfortable and spacious, easily accommodating our family of five. It was the perfect place to relax and make memories."
