「It's a shame this "warehouse -looking" building isn't landscaped. Adding some flower boxes, even though in a "depressed" area of the town, would add to the ambiance of the hotel. Modern and contemporary is great; but it needs a sense of warmth. Maybe having a friendly face at the front desk would help (No personal desk person for check-in is unnerving in a strange/remote town.)」

「The owner was there to check us in, which was very convenient after walking 25 kilometers. She even had our luggage in our room when we arrived.
