「It is a lovely property, reasonably priced with full service restaurant, bar and pool. My room was comfortable and large, staff was really nice, great service. Set on a river and you can experience the howler monkeys. Will come back as it is close enough to the airport for early departures or late arrivals. Can handle large groups but I came here solo, perfectly safe!」

「Was a very clean and comfortable. Was just a tad outside of the easy access zone to nearby tourism places but certainly was perfect for the overnight stay that we had and will certainly be a place to come back to in the future. Loved how they had spa and mani/pedi options available as well. Wife would have taken advantage of that had she not had it done stateside as it seemed to be priced quite well. 」

「I am glad I was able to end my vacation at the gecko bungalow. Michelle made sure that everything was taken care of with the multiple shuttles to and from the airport. The bungalow was an oasis and I was very glad to get to experience it with my first trip to Belize. Michelle and Scott made it feel like another home away from home. 「Facility is okay at best, needs general upkeep to be completed. Painting would be helpful, garbage pickup around the property is needed. The pool is nice but the deck fencing around the pool needs to be repaired as part of it is down. You need a car to get anywhere. We like to walk but we really couldn’t because it is located off of a highway with no safe place for anyone to walk.
