"My family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The Lakeview Restaurant was a huge surprise! We were expecting overpriced mediocre food but our dinner was fantastic! Everything in the hotel was clean for the most part. The indoor pool area could use some attention. The rooms and pools could use some updating, but overall the whole resort was pretty great. Would stay again if in the area. The sunset over Lake Bellaire was absolutely gorgeous."

"Overall, we had a really good stay and enjoyed our time here. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the kids absolutely loved the large back room. The only downside was that it stayed noticeably warmer than the rest of the house.The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, and we made good use of the grill. One suggestion would be to add Adirondack chairs around the yard fire pit. We’d also recommend treating the backyard for the many anthills, as there were quite a few.For families, it would be great if the house included a small selection of board games and books. We knew ahead of time there weren’t any and brought our own, but those little touches make a big difference at a lake house, especially on rainy days or evenings when everyone wants to stay in.The location worked well for us. It was an easy drive to rent a pontoon for the day on Torch Lake, and we enjoyed fishing off the dock. The dock felt a little shaky with more than three people on it, but it was still nice to have. And we had some great catches! If the owners ever decide to include a pontoon or even a couple of kayaks, that would be a huge bonus.The grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurants are all conveniently nearby, and there are some really cute shops around the Torch Lake area as well.Overall, we’d definitely recommend this property."

"Beautiful spot on Torch Lake. Owner was very helpful with any questions. House had everything you could need for cooking and relaxing and ample spots for families to gather together. Beds very comfortable. So nice to have boats and jet skis available to rent right from the house. The paddleboards and kayaks provided hours of entertainment when the lake was calm. The sunsets were out of this world. Just can’t say enough good things about this spot and the fantastic week we had. Two of our children are late teens and I feel our vacations together may not be the same much longer but this is one we will remember forever with fondness."

"Kristi is a fabulous host, going above and beyond any expectations! The house is in a peaceful, quiet location yet not far from area attractions. It is comfortable and well-stocked. Having access to the canoe and a short walk to the river was a highlight for us. We had a fantastic time during our first visit to northern Michigan and would definitely book this place again. Highly recommend, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up!"
