This property was exactly as described. Absolutely beautiful both inside and out. It had everything you could want, from quality kitchen ware to cozy blankets. So calming! We were only there for a few days, but we intend to go back.

Amazing and beautiful!

This was such a wonderful stay. What a beautiful home and location with a lovely quiet beach. The kids had a blast exploring the sand and rocks and hunting for clams. The house is clean and inviting and the owners had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Short drive to lighthouses and restaurants and anything else you would need. 10/10 recommend staying here and we will hopefully be back in the future.

Lovely beach house

Very well equipped house that has everything (and more) that you need for a beach stay. The kids loved beach-combing & clamming out the front door & spent hours at the Broken Rock Fossil Shop. Even though we visited outside the summer season we found lots to do on the East Coast.

Perfection

Sunshine beach house was more than we could have imagined! The location, the decorating, the amenities available in the home were outstanding. I loved waking up looking out at the ocean. It was a wonderful haven to return to after the few day trips we went on. Walking on the sandbars was so relaxing. We cannot wait to return!!

Lovely vacation spot!

Beautiful location! We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and enjoyed relaxing both inside and outside this seaside cottage. It is very well equipped and the hosts are very welcoming. We’re hoping to return again next year! Plus, you need to try out MacDonald’s Bakery in Montague - so many delicious treats to pick from!! Enjoy!!

Immaculate Cottage

Our stay at the beach house was fantastic. You can feel how well looked-after this cottage is from the moment you step inside. Our family of three felt like we were at home right away. Everything is exactly as shown in the photos, perhaps better, as we were pleasantly surprised at how large it felt in the open living space. I can't overstate how clean the cottage felt. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful!!

This spot did not disappoint! We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and numerous walks on the beach. The place was spotless with all the creature comforts - we cooked, and relaxed. Simply amazing!

What an incredible place. Sunshine Beach House is a treasure on a beautiful island. The beach house was fully stocked and beyond, making cooking a breeze and a pleasure. Everything you could need and more was there. The house was immaculately clean and the beds were super comfy with really soft bedding. The views were to die for and the proximity to the water was second to none. We loved our daily walks on the beach to treasure hunt. Simply a wonderful place to call home for a week!

A slice of PEI paradise

From the moment we arrived at the Sunshine Beach House, we knew we were in for a treat! We couldn’t get over the stunning ocean front view! The house was plenty big enough for the four of us, and was equipped with everything we needed (including lobster/oyster shucking tools!) The house is in a perfect location, which made it easy for us to travel to points of interest by car. The hosts were also very friendly with welcome messages, accommodating and responsive when we had questions. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. It’s a place where memories are made, and we left with our hearts full and a promise to ourselves to return. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventurous exploration of PEI, this beach house is the perfect choice!

An absolute dream spot

Sunshine Beach House is quite literally the best experience we had renting a cottage - ever. The property is absolutely immaculate, and stunningly gorgeous. The decor is beautiful. It’s obvious that a lot of thought went into making sure that guests are comfortable and there are so many little touches that go above and beyond. The cottage is in a great spot, feels private, but it really close to so many destination spots. We enjoyed lobster rolls at Treena’s, hikes on the Confederation Trail, days in Charlottetown and being able to pop down to the Red & White for quick grocery pick ups. Tracy and Jerry were always quick to respond to any questions, and provided a ton of information about the area. This made making decisions about where to go and what to see so much easier. Thank you both once again for a heavenly week - we’d consider ourselves lucky to be able to visit you again!!!

Prince Edward Island Treasure!

Staying at Sunshine Beach House was a wonderful experience. The property is well maintained and our host Tracy is a very talented artist and it is evident in how the house is decorated. Warm, welcoming and very well stocked, the house is located on a bluff above the beach overlooking the Northumberland Strait. A beautiful setting. The house is located close to several picturesque lighthouses and the Northumberland Ferry to Nova Scotia. Charlottetown is just a 50-60 minute drive away. Lastly, Tracy was an excellent host. Timely in her responses and very welcoming. All our questions were handled quickly and efficiently. This property is a gem and one to definitely consider if coming to PEI. If traveling with more than two, do take note that there is just one bathroom to share. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Honestly, a perfect stay!

My partner and I, rented this beautiful summer home while visiting PEI with his Mom and Aunt who were visiting from Germany. We were early to arrive, but the hosts who had just finished tidying up were on site and welcome us to an early entry, which we were very happy to take advantage of. The summer home is very well equipped for all your cooking and relaxing needs, which made for a very comfortable stay. The table and chair set outside allowed us to enjoy family meals together and take in the beautiful and quiet scenery, leaving wonderful memories of our time together on the beautiful island. We enjoyed fires at night in the fire pit near the edge of the property and walks along the beach looking for clams - unfortunately we didn't find any, but it was our first time! I also had a couple lovely early morning runs exploring the quiet and rural area. The complementary snacks and wine were a thoughtful and generous touch. Seriously thinking of booking again for next year! Hopefully we can return in the near future. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely summer home!

Absolutely Amazing!

Tracy and Jerry’s Sunshine Beach House is a rare gem - sparkling clean and very tastefully decorated. All amenities are in excellent condition; the kitchen is perfectly equipped and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. We love to cook and had everything we needed to cook our meals - just like home! Sunshine Beach House is located mere steps from the water. Walking on the ocean floor, at low tide, is priceless!! Coffee on the deck, watching the sun rise to the sound of the ocean, is amazing! And, the sunsets are spectacular! Tracy is truly a super host-very personable and welcoming. Her attention to detail is truly remarkable! There were lots of brochures and helpful information on what to see and do. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay at the ocean! We spent the most amazing 10 days here! It was too short! We highly recommend Tracy and Jerry as hosts and their property, Sunshine Beach House, for a wonderful holiday in Belle River, PEI! 10/10! PERFECT vacay!

Breathtaking Views! Stunning Property! Beautiful Cottage! Tracy and Jeff were AMAZING! They have "raised the bar" when it comes to being "Super Hosts"! Communication was Excellent - they were professional, down to earth, genuine and super friendly - helpful in anything and everything we might need! They had super high standards to make sure the cottage was spotless and clean when we arrived. Tracy & Jeff also offered lots of suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Their recommendations were awesome - particularly the "Tranquility Cove - Deep Sea Fishing" - 10/10! We also Highly Recommend "The Ship's Company Pub" in Cavendish and "Clam Diggers" Restaurant! Amazing food! The golf was incredible - both the "Links" and Belfast are awesome courses. If you want a "quiet escape" - Sunshine House is absolutely PERFECT! It is one of the most beautiful, breathtaking properties, I have ever seen. It is "remote", but activities are easy to get too and are fairly close by. (15 minutes to 1.5 hours away) (Keep in mind, most "touristy" gift stores (t-shirts, toys, etc.) are in the bigger towns - Charlottetown, Cavendish, etc.) Absolutely LOVED "Sunshine House" - the views are BREATHTAKING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 10/10!! Heartfelt thanks, Tracy & Jeff, for allowing us to stay at Sunshine House. With some difficult years behind us, it was a privilege and a true gift to experience its peace, tranquility and positive, healing energy. It truly is, Heaven on Earth.

Sunshine Beach House Exceeds Expectations!

We spent an idyllic week at the end of June at the beach house. Our first note is that the photos and descriptions on the VRBO listing are accurate. Upon entrance, one is struck by the grandeur of the view of the Northumberland Strait through the two-story high glass windows in the living room. Almost immediately after that, one notices immaculate cleanliness and a great attention to detail in furnishings and amenities. Suffice it to say, one could move into SBH, and have virtually every appliance, utensil, or cookware one would need for a long-term stay. Of our seven days on site, we only went out to eat twice. We enjoyed a blissful week of solitude and serenity. It actually rained four of the seven days we were there, but there was a rugged beauty of watching the rain driving off the strait beating against the windows, whilst the gas log fireplace provided a warm counterbalance. My wife and I agreed this was one of the best cottage get-aways we have ever had. There are a few downsides depending on the personality and desires of the renter. those seeking access to a wide variety of dining options will be disappointed. One must drive a distance to get much variety. Access is via a PEI red dirt road. If keeping one's vehicle gleaming is important, it won't happen here, especially if they get rain a few days and leave the house. Outside the house is a delight, and I am running out of allowable characters. We loved the yellow Adirondack chairs, clamming, and the ambiance.

Spectacular experience

All was as it appeared on the VRBO website.Clean, clean, clean. It was easy to locate, and enter. The owner extremely approachable & responsive.
