One of the biggest and best breakfasts I've ever had in probably the funkiest little breakfast joints I've ever seen! Homeskillet has quite the story - it's run by a husband and wife duo, Kirby and Tina. They've cooked in many different places around the world like on boats, camps, and even in Antarctica before setting up shop in a bright yellow building on B-ham's Kentucky St. Kirby runs the kitchen all by himself, working at lightening speed to get hundreds of orders out per day. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Bellingham. Prepare for a line up, but it's worth it! I got the biscuits and gravy, and it was HUGE! Note to smaller appetites - order a half size or share. The heater was very noisy. There were three people in our occupancy. On the second day of our stay, we went to the counter to ask for bath towels, but the counter staff were only willing to give us two copies. If I want three towels, l would need to pay.😠
