「We loved everything about Rio Mantra. It is a great place to land each night after exploring the wonders of San Ignacio and area. We even cooked in one night. We spent most of our time outside by the pool listening to the sounds of the jungle. A toucan came by several days and a family of parrots made a playful racket. It was great!」

「First off, the owners and manager are awesome. They are very responsive, and communicate very well. The location was perfect for us, in the middle of Hopkins town. You are able to get the feel for day to day life of the residence. The people were fantastic. The place is nice and quaint, but we loved it. My wife and I both agree, the only thing it was lacking was a couch in the lounge. But honesty, we loved the place and our time in Belize. Nice work!!」

「The home was well set up for family's with games and great kitchen and Living room space. However there was only one air conditioning unit in the master bedroom, this cooled that room only. Mattresses in the two additional rooms were so thin you touched the frame when you sat down. We visited in the cool, wet season, 80’s, and the home was very very hot. 「We arrived in the evening with another couple (we rented both Casitas) and there was only a key for one of them. Contacted the owner and they sent someone to bring the key to the other Casita about an hour later. 「The house was a good location for us as home base while exploring from Dangriga to Placencia and beyond. We really enjoyed the breeze in the evenings on the veranda and the early mornings on the roof top. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning in the bedrooms a life saver. It was a comfortable house. The only downside was the four sets of multiple keys, especially at check-in when we were unfamiliar with everything. Seems like a small thing, but it was a challenge to navigate in the heat.」

「Blue Moon Cabana is as described in its online advertising. Very well kept with no mechanical issues. Also well provisioned with kitchen equipment and other necessities. It is not resort-like. 「We spent our honeymoon here and loved it. There is beautiful hikes, pool, river, and Mountain View’s everywhere you look. We arrived late and they left us flowers in our room.
