Hotel Belvidere was exactly what I needed at the right moment. After a long day on the road, walking in felt like a deep exhale. Clean, warm, quiet, and genuinely welcoming. Every interaction made me feel cared for, and that means more than people realize when you’ve been moving nonstop. When we checkin, the lady was very helpful and kind.The hotel had the old time charm and was nicely restored. The hotel is three stories with a beautiful banister to guide you to your room. The room was very nice. I especially liked the exposed brick in the room. The shower was spacious, modern, and clean. Breakfast was served from 7am to 10am. We had a variety of pastries to choose from, different breads and croisannts, bananas and apples were available also. There were also 4 different kinds of cereal to choose from. The breakfast room was very clean and well stocked with milk, ceam cheeses and butter. We also had coffee and orange juice.

It took sometime to register because no one is in the office. We had to call a number and wait about 10 minutes. We had no towels in our room and had to call twice to get some, once before we went to dinner and once after. There is no thermostat in the rooms, so the room was rather warm.

The room was very clean, safe parking, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of bagels breads yogurt fruits hard boiled eggs different cereals, coffee , juices , different types of milks, danishes , donuts and assorted muffins . No hot meal but we loved our stay. There are plenty of diners for breakfast!

Loved staying at this property. Jennifer, the manager was delightful and extremely helpful. Loved her tour. Two extremely cute shops within walking distance lost and its sister store found. Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich und die Stadt Belvidere eine Neuengland-Perle. Kostenfreie Parkplätze vor der Tür. Auch unser Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen, sehr groß und gemütlich, dazu super sauber. Nicht so toll war der Service: Mangels Rezeption war schon etwas mühsam, um 19 Uhr überhaupt erst mal jemanden zu finden, der uns eingelassen hat. Es gab auch für das Abendessen keinerlei Tipps, letztlich sind wir dann in 10 Minuten Entfernung bei der empfehlenswerten Tiptons Tavern fündig geworden. Selbst beim Frühstück gab es keinerlei Personal, sondern nur Selbstbedienung an einem (ausreichend großen und plastikreichen) Buffet. Kein Drama, aber da gibt es doch noch Luft nach oben.

The Belvedere Inn is quaint and wonderful. One of my favorite features is the beaufirul lanai (porch) around three sides of the second floor. The staff were very welcomingand went iut of their way to be helpful. At least three restaurants were a short walking distance away, parking onsite was free, and the town is quiet with lots of trees. Also, itʻs twenty minutes from the wonderful Lakota Wolf Preserve.
