「Great base to explore IOW (by car), nowhere is very far away.Enjoyed visiting Godshill, Shipwreck Centre, Carisbrooke Castle, Newtown Nature Reserve, Freshwater Bay (great waves!), Cowes, Sandown, Ventnor and Shanklin. Also climbed Bembridge Windmill and had lunch at St Helen's beach.Had a boiler breakdown on first morning so had no hot water for 4 days, happened on the Friday so difficult to find someone to repair it. The home owners were very apologetic (no-one's fault) and did all they could...

「The deckhouse had everything you would need to have an enjoyable holiday. The view from the balcony was lovely. It was an easy walk into Emsworth which has a variety of restaurants and takeaways. The sun shone for the whole week and there were lots of interesting places to visit.」

The whole family really loved the house. It is across 4 floors so we are all a little bit fitter now having climbed more stairs than usual. There is also some building works next door but we barely heard anything at all.」
