This hotel seemed “tired” and in need of a facelift. The abandoned building next to the hotel was scary. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was adequate.

The tub surround of the shower area was moldy as well as the grout in between the tile. Some bleach and a scrub brush could be very helpful. The corners of the room had plenty of settled dust, dead bugs and hair – telling me that the room certainly wasn't deep cleaned in between guests.

The property when you first drive up, looks somewhat abandoned. Properties next door abandoned, overgrown brush, pot holes in the road to get to the hotel . It’s pretty worn down.

What I didn’t like, I wasn’t there long enough to enjoy it. I got in at midnight and had to go before 8 AM. I slept like a baby. The short stay was not the fault of the motel, it was my own.

Adequate, at best. I'm a traveler that checks for bedbugs, regardless of the hotel's star rating. While I didn't find bedbugs, I found dead boxelder and Japanese lady beetles behind the nightstands and bed. Along with the dead bugs, was a good deal of dust. The baseboards were dirty/dusty and were a bit in disrepair. The bathtub's enamel looked pretty worn; and while the bathroom was very clean, they should do little things like removing dingy caulk around the toilet base and tub spigot; and repair the towel rack, as it was pulling away from the wall. The breakfast was fine. Typical powdered eggs, scrambled, etc. The staff failed to wipe down the tables in the breakfast area from one user to the next. On the positive, there appeared to be a fresh coat of paint in the common areas, and new flooring in the common areas and my room. Staff was polite.
