Sunriver Getaway

Had a great time meeting up with friends. Plenty of room for adults with a separate area for the kids. Everything we needed for cooking. Location in Sunriver was perfect - a short walk to the Village and almost across the street from Sharc.

It's a condo in the village and has ample pool passes. If you like the food and atmosphere in the Village area and going to the pool it's a great location. The condo is in need of repair (electrical, clogged drains, broken or poorly working showerhead), beds are older, squeaky and not very comfortable. The hair dryer downstairs does not work reliably. And like a lot of rentals, does not get cleaned between guests. Dirty tub, hair everywhere. I can never understand what the cleaning fees pay for.

Sunriver trip

The condo had everything we needed- plenty of space, all kitchen things, etc. the location was fantastic and the deck beautiful. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. However, the surfaces weren’t very clean. The floor left our socks black, there was pet hair on the side tables, stains on the couches, and the bathroom trash can hadn’t be emptied before we checked in.

Great location and size

We enjoyed our stay. Positives: location: close to town, pool, and trails. Size: comfortable for our family of 4 and one dog. Stocked: had everything we need. Nice outlook on green golf course. Negatives: downstairs bed was very squeaky, WiFi didn’t work consistently. Actually the WiFi hardly worked. TV didn’t work at all for a time.

The property and location. The Management company Vacasa provided incorrect WiFi information which required a technician. There was no problem with the WiFi instead both the Network name and Password were wrong. The technician was helpful but could have been avoided.

Across the street from sharc, sharc passes, 1/2 Mile to village, nice views of golf course and good space for all. One bedroom and bath down great for gramps. We would rent again even though it’s a little older and could use some freshening. Location is excellent for family.

Great location, but could use some deep cleaning and updates

Location is amazing. One of the closest condos to SHARC. And beautiful back yard area that runs up against the golf course. Close to the village. The condo itself needs some updates. The beds were very uncomfortable. Some deep cleaning is in order. And there are things like floor trim and window trim that’s clear paint chips, etc have been ignored for a long time.

Check-in was easy, but I didn’t learn that only one car could be parked at the condo. When a condo sleeps 6 and it seems VERY unreasonable to expect everyone to arrive in one car. When I called the host (Vcasa), they could not help. Mostly because they didn’t not know Sunriver and we’re not “on-site”. My friend was on her way before we had a solution. We made our own in the end, but renters BEWARE, if you are utilizing the condo to the fullest. Other than that…it was a lovely condo and we had a great time.

Underwhelmed

The property was centrally located and arranged ok. However, it was filthy. Dog hair that’d quite obviously been there for much longer than just from one previous guest. Broken windows so couldn’t properly ventilate, so it was really stuffy since there’s no ac. Clogged sinks and insufficient linens.

Good location, needs updating

The location is great, and it’s nice to be on the golf course. However, the couches and beds need updating along with the bathrooms. The couches were worn out and stained, and the bed frame in the downstairs bedroom was very loose and squeaky. The laundry needs updating, and the dryer lint catcher wouldn’t stay in so clothes were sucked into dryer venting. The faucet upstairs was extremely loose. The WiFi was slow and had problems with more than one person using it. It was nice though that the kitchen cabinets were updated, and was great to have air conditioning. Overall needs updating and some maintenance. We’ll be looking to stay elsewhere next time.

A relaxing stay in Sunriver, short walk to the SHARC

My family (four) and I stayed here at the tail end of a long road trip. The unit is clean and spacious, and the AC did a good job keeping things cool. The SHARC is literally a 5-10 minute walk away, and the village not much farther. I enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the shade overlooking the golf course. We'll definitely rent this property again!

Great place

We had a great time here. The only thing we would change would be the bed frames. They are noisy. Everything else was wonderful. We used the SHARC and the Cove during the hot days and enjoyed the golf course view in the evening. We would love to come back.

Great location and space, not very clean

The location, size, and use of space in the condo is great. We were close to the SHARC, and a short ride from the village. However, cleaning was definitely sub par. The walls are splattered with food or drinks, there were wrappers on the floors that looked as though they had just been pushed under the beds and sofas. Pans were stuck together in the kitchen, and no trash bags were left for the kitchen trash. Even with all the reassurance from VRBO that cleanliness was at a max because of Covid, the condo said otherwise.
