Relaxing family fun

Great layout for multiple families. Love this area for its bike paths and aquatic center. Sunriver is a vacation destination.

Great house for groups

Great house for groups. Comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms and great floor plan. Dated carpet and couches but overall very comfy and nice. Would stay again.

Family Vacation

Do not stay here until they update the home and improve property management communication. Pros: We had 6 of us staying this home and there was plenty of rooms. Our granddaughter loved that they had toys to play with and even movies for her to watch. We had 10 SHARC passes and this was an awesome experience. The pool is fun for ALL ages. Cons: 1. The home is very outdated. A few minor things could make this home so much more homey. ie hooks to hang things in the bathroom. 2. Our first day was in the 90's and the air conditioner was broke. They sent 3 general maintenance men out before finally calling an air conditioner company. It never was fixed. 3. During this whole time the communication was very poor with the management company and they made us feel like we were an inconvenience calling them about it. 4. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable. 5. Many of the patio chairs sunk in the middle when you sat in them (we are not big people) 6. Window in master bedroom was broke 7. Deck is in bad shape 8. Many of the outlets are loose and cannot plug anything in them. 9. Fridge light was out I reported a few of the above when I was talking to the management company about the ac but nothing was ever done. If we ever go back to Sun River it will NOT be at this house.

Entire House Needs Updating and Cleaned!

Planned this trip to celebrate my moms 75thbirthday and it was a disappointment from the moment we pulled into the driveway! The roof is hanging off the garage. The bushes are overgrown into driveway which makes backing trucks in difficult. Opened the front door to a very outdated and dirty home. It’s so outdated and dark, it feels like you are in a dungeon. Sad because It’s such a great size home and we were so looking forward to the fact it had 2 king suites upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs as well. Unfortunately, all the beds were miserably uncomfortable and the blankets and comforters were not clean. The couches are old and sagging and one of the cushions downstairs smells of dog urine and dog feces. The carpets need cleaned desperately or maybe replaced would be a better option!! The showers were not thoroughly cleaned. Drinking Glasses in cupboard had been put away dirty so we had to run a load of dishes as soon as we arrived. 3 of the skillets were put away with baked on food which was so tough to get clean, we had to go buy a scouring pad to clean them so we could cook breakfast. All of the woodwork is chipped and needs painted/repaired. The walls are dirty along with paint chips and scratches everywhere. The lighting is so poor that it was difficult to play cards at dining room table at night. We even had to call and stay on hold for 40 minutes to ask them to bring propane as the tank wasn’t filled and there was no spare! Honestly we feel like our special trip was ruined! We have rented 10-14 homes in sunriver over the years and this was by far the worst experience we have had!

Great stay!

We loved the size of this property. Each of the families had their own room with accessibility to a bathroom. The location was a short 20 minute drive into bend. It’s a nice area. My only recommendation would be to spend some time updating the house. It could use some newer TVs especially in the main living room and upstairs loft. Surely this property makes enough profit where they could buy some Black Friday TV specials. My kids were shocked to see a TubeTv. The counter tops in the kitchen could also use an update. Again, we loved the size of the house but minor updates would make you feel like you are really getting your moneys worth.The Master bedroom upstairs was the best part of house, which was updated!

Great for two families

Two families with five teens stayed. We appreciated the 4 bathrooms and the separate loft area for kids to hang out. The property was clean and kitchen was well stocked. One window wouldn’t close properly as well as the flue for the fireplace. Vacasa came the next morning to assist with both concerns and were friendly and wore masks. The repair peoples said the window would be replaced after we left. We couldn’t find the remote for the DVD player, but otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

Well appointed house for groups

We stayed in this home with two families with 4 small kids. There was lots of space for everyone and the house had a good selection of toys and kids supplies. I would suggest that anyone with toddlers might want to bring a baby gate to keep the kiddos from going upstairs and playing on the balconies. The home itself was a little dated, and could use refreshing indoors and out, but it was comfortable overall. Good location, quiet neighborhood and easy access to bike paths.

Property is fine, but.....

It could DEFINITELY use some overall "sprucing up" and updating. There were a number of small things not up to par, in my opinion, for a property in this price range. The layout of the house was ideal with good separation of the bedrooms for privacy. Overall, we all had a good time here!

Great Sunriver location -quiet.

Functional home for multiple families. Loved the location. In a quiet area. Easy access to river and bike paths. Great bbq. Hot tub worked great. Deck needs to be redone. Exposed nails. Bad shape. Only issue we had.

Great Ski House

This was a well stocked place that worked great for two families. All bedrooms had a bathroom with shower - I didn’t realize that from the ad. It made it easy to share w another family. Lots of kitchen items, close to Bachelor, easy check in/check out procedures. Exactly as advertised.

OUTDATED

This home was beyond outdated. ~If you like dusty curtains from 1993 this is your rental. ~If you like kitchen pots and pans from the Goodwill this is your rental. ~If you like dated artwork from 1993 on every single wall this is your rental. ~If you like bedding that makes a hospital bedding look comfortable this is your rental. ~If you like stains on all the furniture this is your rental. ~And last but most importantly, if you want the thermostat to catch on fire and you have to call Sunriver FD and be evacuated THIS IS YOUR RENTAL.......

Fall Covid Fun

Place is exactly as advertised. Perfect 80s decor, comfy furniture, bikes for kids, hot tub in perfect working order, kitchen well appointed (croc pot could be bigger). Master bed/bath has been updated...surprisingly comphy bed. Only nit was a weak wifi modem (single 2.4 mghz channel). We came to work/school remotely for a couple weeks & had to go find a wifi router to boost signal. Once that went in we were golden. Would return again (w/ router in tow)!! 😬

Review

Adequate space for everyone. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for meals. A few minor maintenance issues (bathroom door hinge coming off, bedroom window frame broken). Upstairs ventilation not the greatest - downstairs A/C worked fine but upstairs bedrooms were hot.

Not my best stay in Sunriver

This property definitely needs some work, although it was clean it was not Covid clean. A/C only works in downstairs living room so we had to open windows to get it to cool down at night, windows are in terrible shape we had to prop our bedroom window up to keep it open. There are two fans, only one works. The pillow I had was so flat I looked for an extra but there were no pillowcases to put on them. There was no dishwasher detergent, and with Covid there was very little cleaner, luckily we had brought our own and no washing machine soap but I had my own so was able to keep the towels clean. The outside deck has nails that need to pounded down badly and the front yard is just weeds. Oh and the bathroom fans sound like an airplane going off, don’t use while others are sleeping.

Deficiencies

Inside master bath and bedroom not very clean - area rugs needed vacuuming and found toothbrush on floor by toilet. Sink not draining properly in master bath. Lightbulbs burnt out here and outside front door Listing said several bikes were available but were in poor shape ranging from unusable due to damaged rear gear changer, bent chain, one bike with a broken brake cable and tires not properly inflated. Had to call three different days for someone to come out and take care of lightbulbs and sink. Someone finally showed up on the third day but didn’t fix everything requested. Each time problem was called in, we were told someone would call and say when they were coming but never received one call back.
