Great base camp!

Great location, comfortable home for 5 adults on a weekend adventure. The home is dated but the price was right. Appreciated the king beds for 2 couples, although the lower level bed frame was extremely squeaky. Not a romantic getaway vibe but a great base camp for adventure.

Property fit our family perfectly. Location was close to Village, SHARC facility, and 2 other VRBO home other family members rented. This was our 1st trip to Sunriver, and we plan on coming back. The home is multi level, main bedrooms separated nicely. 2 decks, hot tub, nice furnishings, WiFi,…all the amenities. Driveway (off street parking only) can accommodate at least 4 vehicles. We visited Bend, High Desert Museum, and of course, SHARC pools for the grandkids (passes included with property rental).

There were quite a few steps in the property, so wouldn’t be good if you were elderly. Overall, it was a nice stay

Update Needed

I loved the charm of the house. The wood inside the house with the high ceilings is really lovely. Because the house is old, it is unique. But it needs serious updates. The carpet needs to be redone. Lots of spots that may or may not come out with a good cleaning. Two of the shower heads come about as high as my chest. My 6ft 3inch husband could not wash his hair because they were so low. Blinds need an update as not all of them worked properly. Living room furniture is old and had some cracks (leather? Or fake? Not sure). Not very comfortable. Need new linens, especially towels. Also new pillows and more of them. We didn’t do any cooking but I thought the kitchen was well equipped and had everything one would need. With a little bit of money and additional care, this could be a great rental.

Great Week at Sunriver

House had everything you could want. SHARC was top on everyone’s todo. Lots of bike rides, visit to Lava River Caves, waterfalls. Fabulous vacation. Would definitely try to rent again next year.

The house is an older style with a charming rock fit pace and galley kitchen. Large windows and comfortable beds made this place perfect for us. The house has been well maintained and the master bathtub is a gem!

The house has windows on all sides and has a great view of the outdoors. The kitchen is large with lots of storage in the refrigerator. The dining room and living room are both large and functional for having many guests. The beds weren't the comfiest though and we're quite firm. So some of my friends and I had a hard time going to sleep. Also, the temperature isn't really stable throughout the house. The bedrooms were super hot while the living and dining rooms were freezing cold. Overall, I would say the house is very lovely and is a great place for staying while on vacation!
