The staff were incredibly friendly and warm. However the hotel itself was severely lacking. The Internet was out, there were holes in the walls in the room, the pool never had towels, the cable TV kept cutting out. That being said the Jacuzzi tub was nice.

Cons- Room is a little run down. Carpets need a good cleaning, some tiles surrounding the spa tub need replacing, no coffee cups only tall glasses that didn't fit under the pot. Pros- Beautiful view of the river, bed was large and comfortable, spa tub was relaxing, even though you have to get out to turn the jets off and on. Check in and out was smooth and the price was great.

Grounds were not taken care of. Lobby was a playroom for the kids of front desk staff. Toys, food and garbage all over. He was friendly-ish but not stellar service by any stretch. It was essentially his living room. Place needs help, but still comfortable enough.

Great location near a scenic river park and close to the Mackay Cottage Restaurant a great place for meals. The room was okay and the gas fireplace was nice. Had to ask for toiletries since the room was not fully filled.

The staff was friendly and the room was spacious. I loved having a balcony over looking the river :) the only down side was their steam room wasn't working and pool area could use a little renovation. Overall, we had a stellar stay !

The rooms, facilities, etc. need some serious TLC. The celing in our room was water damaged and the plaster was cracked and peeling right above the door to the room. On the other hand the staff were friendly and helpful, but not overly friendly, and the new hotel restaurant (an indian restaurant) was really excellent and very reasonably priced for their dinner buffet. This place would be really incredible if they could get everything repaired.

I liked the overall layout. Several seperate buildings, easy parking, good shade. The hotel has been here a while and needs updating. All was clean. Room needs more lighting. Outdoor chairs need cleaning. Tv remote apparently needs batteries, or maybe the tv didnt work.

River view was nice. This is an older property that was a little dated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was cleanish, remnants of a mushroom pizza in the fridge. We checked in late Thanksgiving afternoon and the desk clerk hinted he was the only one on site. I would stay there again.
