「There was a mix up with the booking as we were down as dog owners!! Then we had no towels in the room which we had to chase down so we could shower before the meal we had booked. When we got to the restaurant there was more confusion about the booking. However, the restaurant staff were great and even after an issue with our meal order it was quickly resolved. The food was excellent.」

「Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen.
The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.」

「Melfort Village is terrific.
Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation.
There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). 「What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!」
