Hotel was great but Hotels.com sucks !!!

The stay was good but the booking process with hotels.com was bad. My card was charged but I did not receive any confirmation. On calling the customer helpdesk they said they cant help. I booked again with hotels.com so for one night stay was charged twice on my card for one night. After reaching the hotel , I was told Breakfast was not included whereas my voucher showed that it did. Booking experience sucks and so does the fulfillment - I will summarize Hotels .com with just one word - PATHETIC !!!!!

I was there for a short business trip.. the hotel is clean, very practical and food is good too. The best is that I could avoid traffic since my work was close to the hotel.

Not great start but managed to redeem it.

Arrived at 1:30 am to be asked to move to another hotel due to electrical issues in the hotel. Having established that there was a room available I am unsure why such a request was made at that time. The hotel offered was 30 minutes away and I had booked this hotel given its proximity to my meetings. In any case the staff were subsequently very apologetic for the misunderstanding.

Breakfast Buffet is fabulous!! No drawers for storing underwear, etc. Decent internet connection, but LAN cable wrapped up tightly with cable ties, so it was too short to connect on my laptop LAN port. No self-service printout capability for boarding passes, etc. Very clumsy arrangement - e-mail docs to duty manager, who can then print them at the front desk. Drivers for local and Mysore touring were only that - drivers, but not knowledgeable tour guides. Better to go with an actual tour provider.

Location chosen because it was a business trip and this was close to my office, traffic is as horrendous as people say, so the location was great. People were very friendly and helpful, room was good. Overall would definitely recommend if the location is good for you.
