Clean room, wonderful views! Fantastic powerful shower. Fridge was a bonus in our room. Majority of staff were lovely & friendly. Pool area was good, sunloungers in good condition. WiFi was ok. Was disappointed with the lack of choice of bar food & snacks. (Especially because we had to wait two hours to check in so could’ve done with a decent snack as we’d not eaten all day but they only offered a toasted sandwich of ham & cheese which was very anaemic, barely toasted and had no flavour, was very dry!)

Staff were very very nice and nothing was too much trouble. Room was ok, shower and toilet doors were a bit of a bad design (all glass and runners not very good) Good was acceptable for what we paid and was fair amount of choice, no gluten free bread or cakes. Limited desserts. None of the above was a problem I'm just being honest and would stay again if on similar budget.

Excellent hotel and location at this price point, have stayed before and will stay again. Doesn't have the 'bells and whistles' of some other hotels, but is clean and friendly. Our only fault was the 'heated pool' is cold - but to be fair we did visit out of the peak season (but the pool was supposed to be warm even at this time). Certainly not a deal breaker for us though.

The hotel is quietly tucked away in the corner of the sea front, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean, with daily house keeping. The air conditioning in the rooms is fantastic. Shower is powerful. Sea view “balcony” is actually enclosed within the room with wide opening sliding windows. Personally I would prefer an actual balcony, but wonderful views still the same. The only thing I think the hotel could offer additionally in the rooms is a kettle/ tea-coffee maker. Reception staff were all friendly and helpful.

We had a great relaxing time in Kaktus hotel. Staffs are really kind.Pool is really good and beach is very nearby. Service was excellent and dinner was so delicious.we recommend this hotel.

Booked the hotel on the strength of reviews and I have to say on the whole it was OK. Property was nice and clean and well maintained. My fear was the food as we went half board, I have to say it wasn't the best but not the worst. Very middle of the road but I think the menu was more for the Spanish clients. That leads me to the point of being British, it was a major hurdle. If you were Spanish the staff couldn't do enough for you but being British was clearly a handicap. They did what was needed and that was it. The welcome in the restaurant in an evening was "room number" but if you were Spanish they were laughing and joking hugging the family and kids ect ect. On the whole not a bad place to stay, just don't expect a warm welcome.
