Tired and Problems
Our overall impression of the property is it needs significant work, for the price it is a bad choice. The housekeeper was lovely but the toilets were not working for over 48 hours as the water tanks were not filling properly, they need to add instructions to boil the water as it is rain water and not safe to drink so we were boiling water each day, the setting is between dilapidated buildings and a fisherman's boat repair shop. Overall I would not recommend this and the only thing that held the visit together was the housekeeper who tried to address issues. The linens are sparse, the kitchen has limited material for cooking but if you are creative you can make it work.In addition for the first few nights I could hear critters (sounded like mice in the walls) scratching around in the unit above us. We were the only people staying at the property. The property is marketed as beachfront and it is beach front but the waves and tidal action preclude anyone from sitting directly on the beach so there are chairs situated above the beach on a pad of cement. In summary, I would advise the owner to improve the infrastructure and unless significant improvements are made I would warn anyone not to stay there.
