The location was excellent, but the room did not meet the standard we expected based on the hotel’s ratings. The bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable, leaving me with a sore back. The kettle provided on request was dirty, so I had to clean it thoroughly before using it. The toiletries were also poor, so we used our own. There were cobwebs behind the wardrobe, and the shower had no screen, leaving the bathroom floor wet after each use. Breakfast was disappointing, with much of the food pre-cooked and left sitting out. The juice jugs looked dirty, and tea and coffee were available only on request. (No English breakfast tea) We appreciated that the staff were helpful whenever we asked for something, including preparing fresh boiled eggs and providing clean towels. Overall, although the location was excellent, the room and breakfast fell short of expectations.

Very welcoming. Nice modern room. Very good breakfast. Free parking. Hotel is facing directly onto Berat's main pedestrian mall. Parking is located in back of the hotel, accessed from a perimeter road. Watch for the posted signs to the parking lot. Walkable central location within 10' of Gorica bridge and the road to Berat Castle. The evening passeggiata on the pedestrian mall by the park is a joy. Highly recommend.

Nice clean and quiet.

Very nice family that runs the hotel. Clean and quiet. The breakfast was very nice. It was raining when we sat down for breakfast and the upstairs eating area was closed up. The only problem was someone was smoking so that was in the enclosed are while we were eating. I don't think this is usually the case.
