"The hotel was on a quiet side street that had cute shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The double room was just the right size with comfortable beds and very clean. We enjoyed the wine in the bar. We had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights."

"I liked this hotel but the pillows were very uncomfortable and I didn’t find the very friendly. We dropped our luggage off early but it was just put into a room, like a board room. Was a bit worried but it was fine. It was so close to the rail station, 2 minute walk which we loved. But a little further from Old town than I thought but it wasn’t too bad, 15-20 minute walk. You get a free pass for the bus which was pretty easy to get around with and saved our legs at the end of the day. Overall I liked this hotel and would stay again. Just would like a better pillow and I’d rate it higher!"

"No A/C. Now I didnt know this ahead of time or that the balcony was shared with all of the other rooms on our level. The parking is pretty rough if its at all full. They have various parking areas but most were far from the room. The staff was really helpful and the breakfast was top notch. I was traveling with my wife and son and it was convenient that we had separate bedrooms as well as a large bathroom. Just wish we had our own balcony private."

"The location on Mirabellplatz was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. The bed was nice and firm, and the hotel was fairly well soundproofed. The hotel breakfast seemed very overpriced to us, especially since there were good, reasonably priced options nearby. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, we would recommend the hotel, and we would stay there again if we were ever back in Salzburg."

"This was our second stay at Hotel Schwabenwirt, and once again, it didn’t disappoint! It’s a great hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The only things that would make them even better would be a coffee machine and a small fridge. The staff are excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help with questions about the area. The restaurant downstairs is fantastic, and the breakfast is just as impressive! The location is incredibly convenient. Just across the street / roundabout, you’ll find the train station, bus connections, a grocery store, a liquor store, and a sports shop. The town centre is also just a scenic 10-minute walk away, and the walk itself is part of the charm. All in all, Hotel Schwabenwirt is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you want somewhere comfortable and convenient for exploring the area. We’d happily stay here again, and will!"
