The self check in gave me trouble, as with 3 others trying to check in. But someone on staff came and fixed it. She was very very helpful and even directed me to a few shops that I was hoping to find.

The rooms were clean, laundry was fresh and there were plenty of shops nearby. The one downside was that there were no staff onsite (at least not visible) when we checked in or out. In addition, the elevator situation was not ideal, with only 2-3 people and 2 luggage items being able to fit at a time. Elevator only goes to the 4th floor and we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs to the 5th floor. A minor inconvenience, but might make a booking difference for some.

Great value for money. Check-in was easy, as was check-out - the machine talks you through everything. Location is really close to the main tourist areas, like the harbour, and surrounded by grocery shops and bakeries for a quick bite. Room and bathroom was clean, and bigger than we were expecting considering we booked a ‘small’ room. The temperature gauge was a bit tricky to understand at first but we had a comfortable night’s sleep and couldn’t find any faults.

We chose to stay at Breeze because of its location (walking distance to train station, town centre, etc), very short notice booking (so not many other suitable options), head-height (I didn’t want to sleep under a sloping roof like loft accommodation in some airbnbs) and also lower cost. On reflection, we more than spent what we had saved on food and drink, which could have been considerably cheaper if we’d had amenities like a fridge, kettle and microwave. But it advertises itself truly, so for what it was, it was quite good.

Super easy to check in and very convenient location. The room is exactly what you need for a couple days. It’s not big but also not too small. The design and furniture were well thought out. The big issue is the cafe below our room. They had loud music each night and the crowd outside was even louder. It’s not the hotels fault but if I can’t sleep at night because the music is rattling the furniture and my teeth I can’t give it more stars. Also at least one cup of coffee should come with the room per night. I mean come on. All in all it’s an ok place if you can deal with the late night cafe.

従業員のストライキによる急なホテルキャンセルに伴い、直前に慌てて確保したホテルだった。全体として、不便さはあるものの清潔で立地が良いので、割り切って「寝るだけ」と捉えられる旅慣れた方にはおすすめできるホテル。 まず立地は非常によい。空港バス（FB50系統）が停まるFestplassenから徒歩約7分、魚市場やブリッゲン、ベルゲン駅へも徒歩圏内で、観光の拠点として申し分のない便利さ。 チェックインは完全セルフで、無人のレセプションに壁掛けのキオスクがあるのみ。ただ、操作は分かりやすく、事前にメールで届いていた予約番号を入力するだけで簡単に手続きが完了できた。カードキーも2枚発行できた。（1枚は結局使えなかったが） 一方、客室の設備は本当に最低限に絞られている。ドライヤーはあるが、テレビ、湯沸かしポット、冷蔵庫は部屋にない。アメニティも備え付けのボディソープ、ハンドソープ、タオルのみ。コップも薄くて柔らかい不安定なプラスチックカップしかなく、そういう割り切りが必要ということも理解しつつ、やはり滞在中は不便さを感じた。室内や設備自体は非常に清潔に保たれており、その点はとても気持ちよく過ごせた。 もう一つ気になったのは、施設内の案内が不親切な点。滞在中にできることなどの詳細は、後からドアノブに掛かっているタグに書かれているのを見つけたが、初見では分かりにくい。何かあれば電話をすれば対応してもらえるとのことだが、データSIMしか持っていない旅行者にはハードルが高い。せめてWhatsAppなどのチャットツールで連絡が取れるか、部屋やロビーにインターホンがあれば安心できるのだが。
