Don't arrive early!

Check in was a nightmare! The apartment was clean and serviced but they refused to give us the code till 3pm which was check in time else they wanted additional charges for early check in at 1.30pm!!!! Joke! The slope to climb is steep so please only book if you are fit to do that trek 2-3 times a day.

Beware of the steep hill! On the map, this place appears to be conveniently located, but getting up there makes it very inconvenient. You have a choice between taking a few flights of stairs to a very steep incline or taking the steep incline the whole way. The Uber driver couldn't make it up the hill. His car kept sliding back. Problem 2: This is a very sparsely outfitted place-- no salt, no oil, no tea, bare minimum utensils and towels. Problem 3: Communication is very cumbersome and only during business hours. No information was sent about how to remote check in until I harassed them. Had I not done that during business hours, we would have slept in the street.

When I arrived, I was left waiting outside for over an hour with no communication, which was stressful and unacceptable. The room smelled strongly of curry, and there were no basic amenities such as a hair dryer or TV as advertised. Additionally, there was not a single wardrobe or hanging rack for clothing in this two-bedroom unit, which is highly inconvenient and, in my understanding, may not comply with building codes for habitable accommodations. Furthermore, the second bedroom contained an exposed water boiler without any protective wall, which is a safety concern. During a rainy night, I had to move to the living room to sleep because of water dropping sounds through the poorly constructed roof.
