Beautiful view!

Had a friendsgiving get together. Nice space, beautiful view. Wish there was access to the entire deck and had more opportunities for hanging around outside. But the town is super nice and easy to access from the house.

Spectacular Mountain Home

This was our second time staying at the house and this time we brought our family to see it. The best thing is waking up in the morning and seeing the river and mountains out the whole back of the house. Hanging out with a fire in the great room and doing a puzzle was exactly the kind of relaxation we needed. The kids loved the secret bedroom (and decided that part of it was a slide!). It is just a short drive down the mountain to get into town so there is plenty to do if you decide to get out too.

Wedding Family Gathering

Family members from 4 different states, Georgia, South Carolina, Maryland and Delaware, gathered with other family staying in 2 other houses in BS to celebrate a grandson's wedding. The groomsmen (9) dressed at our home on the wedding morning, and had a men's lunch. A wonderful home for wedding prep. Lots of space and inspiring views. I wish that the deck had been available for some pictures of the wedding party! That was the only missing element.

Lovely view, beautiful house

We really enjoyed coming here for a second time. The beds are comfy, bathrooms nice and kitchen is huge. The only complaints we have is the luving room. The furniture is worn and extremely uncomfortable. The tv is tiny and not positioned where the it can be easily viewed. The deck is closed and meant that we could not star gaze. The enclosed portion of the deck made us worry about its safety. The dining room table is big, but the chairs have no cushioning on them and hurt to sit on. It's a shame, because we spent a lot of time at the table playing games and eating and our backs all hurt afterward. easily watched. /

Truly a Million Dollar View

Fabulous view and location. Close to town and very quiet and private. House is very light and open. I would have given it 5 stars, but for some annoying issues-poorly functioning coffee maker, tv didn't work and no hair dryers.
