Good value for money

Basic, functional setup of the rooms. Single bed was comfortable, sheets where crisp and clean. Bathroom was also generally clean, with some slightly discoloured grout lines in the shower. Carpets worn, and the hallway was a maze. Breakfast buffet was varied and enjoyable. Overall, I was quite happy with the value for money and would stay here again.

Never stayed there. Cancelled the reservation 2 hours after I made it and they still charged my card for 4 days, not the usual one day. Hotels.com was unresponsive to my complaint as well.

We booked last minute; probably got the less nice rooms. Appeared to be above the pub-like reception and breakfast room. Quite dated decor, noisy and we could smell the cigarette smell from the outside seating below. No dinner/food options other than the breakfast. Overall not really all that cheap either - wouldnt book there again.

A little bit ruffy. The room is rather small, tight, since the heat this summer is intense, the temperature in the room feels claustrophobic. Bed is ok. Breakfast is ok. Nice small yard. Price feels expensive.

FILM THEMED HOTEL

The hotel is located just outside Potsdam centre and has a car park under the hotel. Rooms had traditional comfortable german beds. The bathroom had a good enough shower. Wifi was excellent throughout the hotel. In these difficult times you had to book a breakfast time to ensure social distancing. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good choice of cereals cheese cold meat boiled eggs yoghurt and fruit. There was also scrambled egg and frankfurters. You could also have breakfast outside in the garden patio. The hotel is a themed film hotel with posters and pictures throughout the hotel. Also some historic film apparatus. Good place to stay for a touring base for the region

Good location for us

We stayed four nights. We were here for buying a mobile home in Nuthetal, so it was a good location for us. Nice breakfast, but a little noicy from the street outside of cars early in the morning. Good with garage for our car, luckily we had a little one, because it wasn't spacy. Easy walk to the center of Babelsberg and to the filmpark. Most of the filmpark wad closed but we were there for one hour. Easy to hire bikes from Nextbike nereby to cycle to Potsdam. Friendly staff. They missed cleaning our room one day.

Besuch mit der Familie in Potsdam

Durch Die Corona warenwir trotzdem sehr überrascht das wievom Frühstücksbufett essen konnten. Wir hatten auch kein Problem damit,das nur jeden zweiten Tag das Zimmer gereinigt wurde. Nur etwas hat uns gestört das nebenan noch die Bauarbeiten waren und auch am Sonnanbend. Man kann von diesem Hotel sehr gut mit dem Bus in die Stadt fahen und ist nicht unbedingt auf das Auto angewiesen.

Businessaufenthalt im Filmhotel

Der Aufenthalt im Filmhotel war insgesamt angenehm. Das Bad war renoviert, das restliche Zimmer leider (noch) nicht. Auch die Parkgarage ist eher eng. Hervorzugeheben sind der Service und das Frühstücksbuffet, dass zu dem berechneten Preis eine übbige Auswahl enthielt.
