Se tapó el desagüe de la ducha. Seinindó el baño, el dormitorio y parte del pasillo exterior. Mandé 3 mails en alemán y 2 mensajes en inglés y alemán. Nunca contestaron. Pasé toda la tarde secando el piso con toallas. Al día siguiente dejé un cartel en alemán pegado en la puerta del cuarto. Destaparon el baño y nadie puso la cara ni se disculpó. No lo recomiendo

It's a unique little place in the heart of the Prenzlberg district of Berlin. Just a block from Schönhauser Allee S & U train station and also a block from historic Gethsemane church. Lots of little eateries and a major shopping center all just a few steps away. Neatly appointed rooms that fit right into the district's vibe. And an ice cream shop right att the entrance. The only minus are the windows which could use some noise insulation. Room looked out to the courtyard behind the house and you will hear ever bike locked or unlocked, every conversation and certainly the garbage pick-up if it happens to occur as it did at 6am on Sat when we were there. But hey, it's Berlin and you should expect some noise. Would definitely be back.

Quirky and delightful

Kind of loved this quirky place! Don't expect a regular front desk, but the ice cream parlor guy who lets you in if you arrive outside of the limited hours when the "front desk" is attended, is nice and hands you the key. Be sure to call ahead if you won't be there by early evening when the ice cream parlor closes; they will give you a code for the key box and your keys for the main door and your room door drop right down. There's a hot water pot with tea bags (and probably coffee) outside the room, and you can use the refrigerator for your own milk or whatever. The room is clean and well appointed, nice bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, very quiet. We stayed there twice, 3 days each a few days apart, and would definitely stay there again. Neighborhood is great--restaurants, a full mall, etc. Loved the unusual touches, mostly in the art work. Huge painting in the room, not to my taste at all but amusing perhaps because of that, and much of the hall wall art, meant to be horizontal, is hung vertically, an inexplicable choice which we very much enjoyed! If you're looking for room service and a typical hotel experience, this is not the place for you, but we loved it!

Unterkunft direkt an der S-Schönhauser Allee

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Der Check-In war sehr einfach. Im Dreibett Zimmer standen 2 Doppelbetten, dadurch war es etwas enger im Zimmer. Wir können es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden - leichte Zufahrt, gute (und guenstige) Parkmoeglichkeiten, ruhige Lage, Einkaufszentrum vor der Tür, U-Bahn und S-Bahn vor der Tür, Zimmer eine tolle Groeße, sauber und unkomplizierter Check-in! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Einrichtung mit dem nostalgischen gemütlichen Ambiente und angenehmer Atmosphäre. Sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Zimmer & Bad. Toller Service. Der Fernsehempfang war leider teilweise sehr gestört, für uns allerdings nicht so gravierend. Hierhin werden wir gerne wiederkommen, Sehr empfehlenswert.
