This house was perfect for our group of adults and kids! It’s in a beautiful remote area and a short drive to Berrien Springs. We stayed here for a Notre Dame game and it’s an easy 30 min drive to campus. The house was very clean and the hosts were wonderful. We didn’t need anything but they were very accommodating and checked in on us.

A true hidden GEM

Pictures do not do this property justice! It was the perfect stay for our weekend in southwest michigan! The hosts were so easy to get ahold of and checked in frequently. We had an amazing time and recommend this vacation home to anyone!

A true Getaway

We had a great time at this home. We were to comfortably fit adults and children in this home. The kitchen space was amazing… great appliances and lots of cooking space. It was super easy to get in touch with the owners and they were always quick to respond. I would definitely come back here and would recommend working with them in the future. Thanks for a true getaway!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was the perfect place to house our family for a wedding and we made so many memories in the pool, arcade and at the long dinner table! My kids are missing it already! Great hosts and so communicative!

Great family getaway

My large family was able to gather for a group weekend at this fabulous spot. Every family was able to have their own separate but connected “wing” of the house. Pool and hottub were clean, woodland trails on the property, swing set for the kids. Can’t speak highly enough of the hosts and their responsiveness to ensuring we had everything we needed.

A well appointed home sitting in a wonderful quiet location, off the beaten path. Ideal for a large family with small kids that are easily bored. The host is most congenial and accomodating. Just a great experience.

Great spot for our family reunion!

The home was clean, beds were firm but comfortable. The kids loved the basement hangout room and triple bunk beds. Right in between South Bend and St Joseph. Beautiful scenery, we loved sitting around campfire looking over the pond. Quick and easy communication with hosts! I would definitely recommend Smitten in the Mitten!

This property is in the woods, absolutely beautiful. The pond is filled with lilypads and as we watched, a heron perched on a tree branch and eventually on the shore of the pond. The pool and hot tub were clean and the perfect temperature. Inside, the home is very spacious with large, comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with all one could need for cooking; there were plenty of dishes, plates, pans, glasses, and flatware to accommodate our fifteen people. We loved having meals around the large table! The children loved the lower level with the many games and the large comfortable couch. I can't think of anything lacking in this accommodation. We loved it.

Clean, minimalist home & great for kids

We had 4 adults & 8 kids and it was a very nice place. Clean; supplies provided; great views; easy to work with the management; nice playset for the boys; lots of outside room for the boys to shoot their airsoft guns; game room; TVs worked; can't think of anything negative to say; we didn't use the hot tub but it looked like it was clean & in proper order; highly recommend this place; my boys want to go back -- all of our kids loved this place, esp. the 3 level bunk beds. You'll love this location. Take care and see you in heaven.

Perfect place for relaxation & solitude!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much! It was exactly what we wanted - a house in the middle of the woods with a beautiful view and options for relaxing and unwinding. The jacuzzi tubs and huge flat screen TV in the basement were personal favorites of ours. The check-in/out processes were seamless and the property was clean :)

Great rental!

This was a great rental for our family. It had pllenty of space, and it was very clean. Everyone had something - the kids enjoyed the basement with the game room, the teens spent lots of time in the hot tub, and the adults enjoyed spending time by the fire. And everyone loved the neighbor's chickens that roamed around. The woodsy remote area is exactly what we were looking for. We would stay here again!
