Staff first impression was fantastic! Friendly, clear communication, and welcoming. Unfortunately, that's really the only good thing. The lobby looks great at first, but the long banquette is in disrepair. The fake leather is disintegrating and has no support. (I sat and sank down about 16 inches!) The breakfast was also decent but all the tables were dirty and still unwiped after eating and reading there for 45 minutes. The small TVs are old and not working.
I was advised that room cleaning would only occur every 2 days, but they could provide a towel or extra cleaning upon request. I support being eco-friendly and efficient. However, we were there 6 days/5 nights and NOT ONCE did anyone attempt to clean the room, or at least check on things. By day 4, while leaving around 1 PM, I stopped at the desk to request a room cleaning. The front desk person said, "so ... for tomorrow? It's too late for today." I pushed back and said, "No. At minimum, we need our trash emptied and our used towels exchanged."
When we returned that night, thankfully the towels were swapped and the tiniest of cans were emptied (not much bigger than a Pringles can). However, our accumulation of overflowing trash placed directly against the cans wasn't touched. I grabbed this trash and found a larger can by the elevator, but could only pile on top as it was also full. See pics for our super-dusty, cobweb covered room, as well. For the price, this was not the Hampton Inn standards that I remember!!
