However, as it is self check-in there isn’t anyone around. Everything is done via text messages and code locks. The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned at all after the previous guests had left. Owner Glenn is so helpful, resourceful and kind to have a chat. The volunteers Kasia and Dan are lovely to talk with.
It feels a very cosy hostel, not too crowded, noisy and neither a party hostel. I was visiting for tourism and leisure and while many of the guests staying here for work or business, there were no issues.
And Glenn kindly helped to sorted out a minor issue in the room very effectively.
Just a note there is no stove but a microwave...
「Room was very dirty with cobwebs in the bathroom and the bedroom. Stains on the bed sheets and pillows. Dirty marks on the walls. Corners of the room and bathroom not cleaned properly with very old build up of dirt. However you get what you pay for.」
