“The apartment was not clean. Even after I sent pictures he did not believe me. The place didn’t even have toilet paper! Since we were stuck and had no choice we cleaned the bathroom, stripped the bed and washed the sheets and ran the vacuum. Told owner and he said he had pics from the cleaner that were dated stamped after she cleaned. My pictures were date stamped as well. So he sent her back to “clean”. She didn’t clean but did provide toilet paper. Day three all hell broke loose. We were also……

“Terrible experience. I chose not to stay at the property after entering the unit and finding it had not been cleaned. Dirt on the floors, bathrooms not cleaned, dirt on the sheets, garbage on the floor in both bedrooms. Disrespectful owner. There are far better properties to book in Birmingham. “Sutible as a 1 bedroom unit. Ensure to ask for updated pix of the living room! The 3 seater, off the ground couch/‘other bed’ in the posting broke the day before check-in. The replacement “couch” is nothing more than folded matting on the floor and can’t sit 2 adults comfortably rendering the living room as practically useless. Discussed this with the property manager at check in and gave him the opportunity to adjust the rate in fairness but, he didn’t. Will continue to discourage friends……

“The place was pretty clean, however the Keurig did not look clean at all so I could not use it and also there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom.
My check in was delayed by a couple hours because I couldn't get a hold of the host and when I did, they mentioned that they prefer to call instead of text which is fine but I wish I knew beforehand.
There was also no information regarding parking so I parked on the street the first day but there are spots behind the place.
