"This was the worst trip to Big Bear. I’ve stayed at this hotel in the last 12 months twice and everything was good but this time it was horrible. To start off now you have to pay for parking per night. If I would have know that I would have stayed across the street at Marina Riviera. It was $40 more but it’s 10 times better. After checking into our room (206) both beds looked like there were caved in in the middle. I checked under the bed and all the middle legs of the bed were broken. We told the guy in the front and he said they shouldn’t be broken but he was very kind and moved us to 204. 204 had good beds but the bathroom smelled like sewer, the door guard was broken. It wasn’t even on. The door wouldn’t close from the inside unless you used the bottom lock. I was ok with all this… The worst part was when my 8 year old went to the snack bar in the room to grab a snack and brought me back a marijuana joint asking what was it. Seems like the cleaning crew did a horrible job. We called the front desk and just said sorry. You can do whatever you want with it. This has to be the worst hotel in Big Bear. Worst customer service. So if you want to teach your kids what a joint is and maybe they can get high for free just bring them into this horrible hotel!"

"The room was super cute and really quite. The room had everything we needed. The staff was extremely friendly. We were booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 3 nights. Parking was right in front of our room. The only thing was the floor in the room didn't seem very clean. Not sure if it was because it was a pet friendly room. Other than that we will be back. Highly recommend this location. "

"A clean, well located property, with excellent views of the lake and the dock for boats. The sounds of water rippling , the quack and chirping of ducks and birds help to enjoy a relaxation experience."

"Small room, but big bed and had everything I needed. The only downside was that all the pillows were very big and dense, hard rather than soft. Otherwise, I stay here often and am always satisfied. Nice staff."

"The location was a major highlight—being close to downtown made everything super convenient. However, our stay had a few disappointing aspects. We specifically booked this hotel for the pool during our kids’ spring break, only to find it was closed. While it’s mentioned in the fine print that it’s seasonal, it was still a big letdown. The room was spacious enough for our family, which we appreciated, but the beds were uncomfortable. The blackout shades also didn’t block much light, so we were all waking up very early. To top it off, there were ants in both the kitchen and master bathroom when we arrived, which was frustrating. Overall, great location, but several issues took away from the experience."
