Pretty good in all aspects. But there are clogged drains in the shower room and for the bathroom sink. Probably the main drain is clogged? Other than that, this stay is very good.

Overall, it was okay. We booked this hotel for one night as part of a cross country trip, and upon arrival we were told that there was no air conditioning in the rooms. There was a big disclaimer letting you know before you check in, however, we had booked it months prior and had just driven 4 hours in a storm to get there, so what were we going to do at that point. I was hoping for some sort of credit, but nothing was offered and the woman at the front desk wasn’t very friendly or apologetic. We made do but we had to borrow a fan and sleep with the door to the balcony open, which wasn’t ideal. Most Holiday Inns have free breakfast, but there was just coffee, which was kind of disappointing. On the plus side, it was clean and convenient to town and there is plenty of parking.

No airconditioning, the jacuzzi was cold everyday we tried to use it. They refused to provide an itemized billing invoice to me when I checked out. They said Expedial would provide. Clearly a great property that is going downhill. My room had a broken shower. My friends room had a door that dragged on the flooring and made noise. It seemed like many of the rooms were out of commission due lack of investment to keep them in good condition.

The AC was broken and the rooms were 84 degrees. When we asked the fron desk just gaslit us and said "we just didn't know how to work it... they told us to just open the windows and it will cool off at midnight." Staff was rude and did not care at all. Sign on the front desk said be back in 10 minutes for hours. Spa did not work, pool was filthy, fire doors were tied open with plastic trash bags, ice makers did not work. Stay away from this pit.

The air conditioning was out and it was a very hot weekend over the Fourth of July in big bear. Luckily, we arrived on a Thursday and realized that the air conditioning was out before the hotel was sold out and we were able to move down to a room that wasn’t in the direct sun and although the air conditioning was out for our entire weekend, not being in direct sun on an upper floor did help. The staff was friendly and nice and did the best that they could, under the circumstances. They did have live music on Saturday. It was heavy metal. The location was great within walking distance to the village of big Bear lake and the lake.

AC was not functioning, and the pool was only 3.5 feet deep and had no heat (very cold). The sauna was also broken and cold. I felt very disappointed since I had children with me. The rooms were extremely hot, and overall, I will not be returning. The only positive aspect was its proximity to the Village.

Stayed 2 nights. Power went out at 9:30pm first night for 18 hrs of our stay. We were there for a weekend event. No power. no use of amenities, no food, no coffee, as the ENTIRE VALLEY had zero power. SoCal Edison kept extending the outage and threatened to keep it off until midnight but it came on at 3pm. Ridiculous to do this on a wkend with so many visitors. Many were forced to leave the area early. The wind was very minimal & no fire danger but this the reason SCE gave. Again ridiculous. Could have been done mid-week instead chose to inconvenience many guests. We paid for a hotel room we could not use amd no discount given. Hotel staff never asked how was our stay at checkout. Probably too embarrassed to ask. Very sad and unfortunate situation overall.

Just Needs a refresher and some TLC. Shower hot/cold handle wasn’t working properly so the shower wasn’t able to hot.
