「Our group of 6 chose to stay at Mark's place to be near the BBNP entrance, but that didn't work out quite right for us. Location is ~18 miles down a narrow, winding, lonely road off the main hwy. Then about another 5 miles of dirt road to get to Casa de Chiles. Mark greeted us as we drove up in the early evening. Communication was great and his place is quite clean with some super comfortable beds. Not the best place for basecamp, but a good choice if you're looking to stay somewhere and...

「Property was amazing right outside Big Bend National Park. Super cute, clean and cozy for our family of 4. Kids loved the loft! Totally as advertised. Easy communication with owners who made themselves very accessible if need be. Near everything we needed - we loved walking to all the super fun restaurants right across the road! 「Rarely does anything, any place or anyone OVER-deliver on a promise but the Star Gazer does. The deck cooking area and banos with showers inside and out were my favorite part. The Airstream itself is cozy and clean and the expansive view was life affirming. We had one tiny problem when we arrived but the host picked up our call and quickly talked us through it. I’m giving five stars only because I can’t give 6.」

「The quaint cabin was very clean and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The day we arrived the power went out and apparently it impacted a lot of residents. Thankfully, power was restored within 20 minutes. Daryl followed up by calling and checking on us which was a very kind gesture. There aren't a lot of dining options throughout the area, so I suggest bringing your own food. The cabin's fridge is large enough to store a lot of groceries. 」
