"Lajitas is a great place to stay whilst visiting both Big Bend National & State parks. It is gorgeous property with options for eating including coffee, pizza, ice creamy & bakery items as well as bar food & fine dining. Staff are all very friendly & helpful. I was disappointed in the resorts’s lack of attention to the dark sky ethos of Big Bend with lots of bright lights shiny all night long…"

"Stayed at the Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The building itself is stunning—beautifully restored with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with great attention to detail. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown El Paso. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, which made the experience even better. The service was excellent across the board—friendly, professional, and attentive. One of the highlights was enjoying the vibe of the hotel itself, from the lobby atmosphere to the rooftop views. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a high-end, memorable experience. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting El Paso. It’s easily one of the best stays I’ve had."
