"Second stay at this excellent property - we will be back!"

"Good location. The stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and drier are very good. The light fixtures are dim in the living area and the furniture is too oversized for the space making it crowded. We had to use a flashlight to find items in the kitchen. The fireplace mantle hinders sitting down at the dining table. The bed in the master room either has a very narrow passage on the closet side, or making the passage wider blocks the bedroom door. The Webber grill is filthy and should be replaced. The stairs down to the lake are very steep and rickety. The railing at the top is rotted away from the anchor post. There is a rusted out BBQ on one of the landings and a large water mattress stored on the landing with a picnic table. I got a sliver in my finger holding on to the rotting wooden railing. The back screened in porch could be lovely but instead was cluttered with extra chairs and stools. On the cabin level the picnic table slopes inward and is uncomfortable for stting and having a meal. There is junk scattered around the property. Paint is peeling everywhere. Summation: This property needs to be redone or removed as a vacation listing. We left five days early due to the poor conditon. "

"Nice house that was able to accommodate 12 adults & 4 kids. Enough beds for everyone. The view of lake is beautiful and having a dock for our rental pontoon boat was a plus. Now here’s the big negative- VRBO advertising it as Air-conditioned. Well in a house that size it has 1 AC portable unit in the upstairs bedroom. The rest of the house was hot (at times hit 80 degrees inside) and there was only a couple fans available. After calling VRBO to come out and check out the house, it was determined the house doesn’t have central air and the homeowner refused to buy additional AC portable units. They did purchase additional fans which helped a bit. Opened all windows at night but quickly had to shut them due to the house filling up with mosquitoes & other bugs. Apparently the screens have holes in them. For the price they charge, I expected better!"

"Positives:1. Easy to find.2. Convenient to Boulder Jct., and Manitowish Waters.3. Beautiful lake view from most living areas.4. Well appointed large kitchen with modern appliances that functioned well.5. Very lovely cabin ambiance. 6. Vacasa Mgt. very responsive when problems arose or questions needed to be answered day or evening.Suggestions:1. Add an iron and ironing board2. Please list all kitchen amenities, such as a crock pot which wasn’t listed in property amenities.3. Please correct the fireplace as wood burning. In the property listing it says gas fireplace.4. It would be good to know the make and model of the stove so instructions can be found on line. NO WHERE was there a name of the stove on the stove. "
