“Everything was great for our three night stay which has been a tradition each Nov/Dec for the past three years. Everything in the bachelor suite was great, clean and in good shape. When we had some challenges with our toilet on our last day, Mike was at the site and came quickly to try to fix it. “Bottom line: this is a fun place to stay, and I think you will enjoy yourself if you stay here. House needs (and deserves) some TLC. The house could comfortably accommodate 8 guests, and maybe 2-4 more. We were not really familiar with Rita McNeil prior to our visit, but if you are, this place will be a thrill for you (it's her former home). “This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Although the Rita Suite was clean, comfortable and roomy, and it is in a great location, we found it lacked some basic amenities for travelers such as: Salt and Pepper, cooking oil, servettes, extra roll of paper towel, and sufficient amount of coffee pods for the length of our stay. As well, there was no "Welcome Basket" that we are accustom to seeing at other VRBOs that includes such things as preserves, crackers etc. (i.e. small items that are often not brought by travelers).
