“Check in power went out at 8pm never came back on till 2.30 am was offered a flash light nothing else I would have expected some sort of discount or free breakfast was offered nothing won't stay there again”

“My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!”

“I just found good staff who refund me for my other day because i wanted to leave the hotel. I had bad experience. Mattress was terrible and pool was not working. AC has garbage inside. ”

“Full disclosure, the place was getting reconstructed while I was there. This is a property I have stayed in the past ad might have missed the heads up. The room was clean itself and was fully functioning, do believe this place had a decent shower. for a night stay this a was good place, being down town allowed also for great views all day long and a decent walkscore for things to see and do. the only issue I had was that the laundry service was out of service and that was the main reason I……

“The hotel property is quite old, and the rooms were not maintained properly. The air conditioning was not working well, which made the stay uncomfortable. The food service staff was rude and irresponsible, and basic things were not provided properly. Overall, we were not happy with the service. The only positives were the good location and decent parking facilities.”

“No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me.”

“Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return”
